The Isle of Man Sports Awards 2026 once again saw an amazing turnout for sports people and organisations across the Isle of Man. This year, our very own Chantelle was nominated for Disability Sportsperson of the Year, and we could not have been more thrilled after the amazing year Chantelle has had with RDA!
On the night, we had loads of fantastic support, not only inside the Villa Marina itself, but across the world as well – as far as New Zealand and the USA!
What an incredible surprise it was then, to have Chantelle be revealed as the Leonie Cooil Courage & Inspiration Award winner for 2026!
An absolute testament to Chantelle’s incredible determination throughout riding sessions, and her perseverance at both Virtual and in-person Nationals at Hartpury – riding horses she had never met before! There was not a dry eye in the house after Chantelle took the microphone to tell everyone about her journey with RDA.
